Well what is there to say. Before last tuesday I'd never heard about or from you. That evening in the Trianon in Nijmegen, Holland, really was the first time. And I was struck by your music, the voice, the lyrics. So I bought your newest cd and eversince I played it maybe ten times or more. And I still love it.
Great sound and recording too. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Holland. Whenever you're here again I'll be there. Lots of success.

Alicia, I'm so very proud of you and honored to know you. You have flourished into a beautiful song bird with such a Spiritual Gift from God.
Continue to pour out your thoughts through your music as many are in need to be touched, healed, and moved by the words released from your heart and soul.
Your mother is also a very passionate, giving Angel from Heaven with a beautiful voice; I love hearing her sing. She tears up with such joy at the sound of your music; she loves you and your sisters very much. She often shares with us the good news of your success and life in general; she's a proud mom.
Take care and continue to be a blessing to many in need, namely me, love you much sweetie and CONGRATULATIONS!
Love
Ms. Debbie (Tallahassee)

I took sometime to listen to this album…..Alicia, it’s not just good, it’s great.
You are great at looking and then putting a picture into a song….and when we hear the song, the picture appears to the listener….
The way the songs flow together, happy, sad, thoughtful, lyrical and wise….Truly, Seasons!!!! Seasons of our lives….
How do you do it? Being so young? I’ll just have to chock it up to extremely talented….
I let a friend of mine from Church listen to it. She is a little older than me, Woodstock generation. She said You reminded of her of Joan Baez or Joni Mitchell, but with a prettier voice…..Right On, I say!!!!
Ruby Red Sky, Our Tiny Little Hearts, You’re In the World, the Holly and All and So Many Songs, evoke the best of what we can/could be.
A Night on the Town….Man, this one really gets me. After an affair my wife of 32 years had, we found thru this year, we could not live together. So this song sings of Broken Love and Broken hearts and the fact that hurt and pain can be with you in your teens, or in your 50’s….Though a very good song, I find I can’t listen to it all the time….
I’ll Keep Tryin’. This is the best/my favorite song on the whole album…the mixture of ones younger and older self meeting….The setting reminds me of my youth, as I’m from southern Appalachia, in Alabama. And in the dream You are the fiddle, but never learned to play, says what if? To me…Must keep trying…

Alicia,
Nestled in a special corner of my heart, I keep a list of names. The list includes Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Aretha, Nanci Griffith, Sinatra, John Lennon, Nat King Cole, and others. These are all musicians who have touched me very deeply. Yesterday, I heard you perform and met you at the Center for Spiritual Living in SLC.
Today, I added your name to my list.
Thank you, Alicia, for sharing your heart with all of us. Thank you so much.

If you love great acoustic music from a fantastic singer/songwriter? Then You MUST see Alicia McGovern!!! Beautiful, intelligent lyrics, artistic guitar playing and the voice of an angel. I told her that anyone who could entertain folks with a guitar and a voice, and her own songs? Was just an amazing wonderful talent!!! I guess what I'm saying is that I love the music and spirit of Alicia McGovern!!!!
